thinking data® BI Toolkit

ThotWave builds sophisticated business intelligence applications that give decision makers useful access to data in corporate databases, analytic models, and document repositories – all in a web browser. The thinking data® BI Toolkit is our library for assembling custom BI solutions using components. The toolkit consists of a number of pluglets for data delivery and administration that may be configured and assembled. At the same time, the toolkit components are openly extensible to meet the most demanding decision support needs.

System Requirements

The thinking data® BI Toolkit is based on Java and requires a JavaEE application server. It is effective with a wide variety of information stores, including popular relational databases and SAS.

  • Required: Java SDK, 1.4 or better
  • Required: Java web/application server, servlet API 2.3 or better
  • Required database: JDBC-compatible relational database
  • SAS integration requires the SAS System version 8.2 or better
