ThotTransfer is a tool that enables users to collaborate and manage project teams through the use of a standard web browser. ThotTransfer helps dispersed project teams (employees, contractors, remote teams and service organizations) make better, more informed decisions, while saving money by increasing productivity and reducing lost time. With private-label and closed e-communication sites, companies can control access and knowledge sharing within one web interface. ThotTransfer’s core collaborative services and features enable teams to share, discuss, contribute, discover, stay informed, disseminate and re-use unstructured, collaborative information from anywhere and anytime.

Features

• Share Information - Documents, e-mail correspondence, web pages, or any other information objects can be organized, preserved, published, selectively shared, and retrieved for later reuse.
• Contribute - Electronic information can be added through the upload function of a web browser by e-mailing directly to a specified location within the group memory, or by using web folders to copy information from the desktop into the workspace in a familiar way.
• Discover - Full-text indexing of all data allows retrieval by content and metadata. End-users can further restrict searches by information type, author, date or location in the group memory. Information can also be published directly to users via the channels mechanism.
• Stay Informed - ThotTransfer notifies users, either through e-mail or a browser, when information is modified or when new relevant information is added to the group that matches a user’s area of interest. A user can subscribe to be notified of relevant information that is added to specific areas, when documents are modified or reviewed, or when information matches specific search queries.
• Distribute Information - Users can notify individuals or groups either through e-mail or a browser enabling large-scale communication to target audiences within the project.
• Reuse of Knowledge - By capturing the work of many people in context, it is possible to discover and apply historic and business frameworks of information used in previous work. ThotTransfer facilitates learning by capturing and utilizing this knowledge, along with best practices.
